【Dimming Film Installation Example】On a Framed Glass Door

The dimming film Kasmy can be applied to various glass doors, including hinged and sliding doors.

We would like to introduce a case where we applied a retrofitting installation to an existing glass partition that separates the rooms. This time, we installed it on a framed door and fixed glass. The electrode part of the dimming film is finished neatly using a privacy material. At Beecat, we strive for beautiful finishes with our extensive installation experience and high technical skills. Kasmy can also be installed on various types of glass doors, such as swinging doors and sliding doors. Additionally, we accommodate various layouts, including rooms with transoms. It is also possible to install glass surfaces that exceed the maximum size by laminating them.

The maximum size of the Kasmy dimming film is 1200mm × 3400mm. For installation on glass surfaces exceeding the maximum size, we will apply multiple sheets together. The gap between the films is approximately 2mm and very slight. The seams will be finished neatly with clear caulking.
